KDBC Guiding Principles Principle 1: Purpose We develop the capabilities of students to be future generators of sustainable value for business and society at large and to work for an inclusive and sustainable national as well as global economy.
Principle 2: Values We incorporate into our academic activities and curricula the values such as respect for self and others, care for resources, responsible for owns action, adherence to rules and regulation, etc.,
Principle 3: Method We create educational frameworks, materials, processes and environments that enable effective learning experiences.
Principle 4: Research We engage ourselves and our students in conceptual and practical research that advances understanding about the role, dynamics, and impact of individuals and organizations in the creation of sustainable social, environmental and economic value.
Principle 5: Partnership We interact with managers of business organizations to extend our knowledge of their challenges in meeting economical, social and environmental responsibilities and to explore jointly effective approaches to meeting these challenges.
Principle 6: Dialogue We facilitate and support dialogue and debate among students, educators, business, government, consumers, media, and other interested groups and stakeholders on critical issues related to business, social responsibility and sustainability. “We understand that our own organizational practices should serve as example of the values and attitudes we convey to our students." The BBA Program at KDBC is a four-year extensive Bachelor’s degree program affiliated to Purbanchal University. With a total of 129 credit hour, the program is spread over eight semesters. The program forms an excellent foundation on which students can build their business careers, equip themselves with the knowledge and skills to meet the diverse challenges faced in a highly competitive business environment both locally and internationally. Further, the course focuses on a wide array of management disciplines such as general foundation, business foundation, environmental studies, ICT, etc. thus increasing graduates choice of career options. The KDBC BBA course aims to provide an in depth overview of the latest developments in both the theory and practice of business administration and management. Hence, it has been designed to develop innovative management and entrepreneurial skills as well as the adaptability of the mind. This will enable the learners to become empowered to undertake responsible managerial positions (in the private and/or public sectors), or self-employment ventures and at the same time making them socially responsible.
